Italian lenses, for eyes that are looked at closely

Elora began with a simple frustration: the coloured lenses available locally were either safe and dull, or striking and badly made.

There is a version of this category that treats a contact lens as a cosmetic accessory — printed, packaged and shipped as cheaply as the market will bear. It is also the version that leaves people with dry, red eyes by the afternoon and a quiet suspicion that lenses are simply not for them.

Elora was built on the opposite assumption. A lens sits on the most sensitive surface of the body for fourteen hours a day. It should be specified like a medical device and finished like a piece of jewellery, and there is no good reason those two things should be in tension. That is why every Elora product is made in Italy.

So the range is deliberately narrow. Four products: clear lenses, coloured lenses, the solution that cleans them and the drops that rescue them. Each one developed to work with the others, and sold through pharmacies and opticians who can measure an eye properly.

Origin

Made in Italy

Every Elora product is manufactured in Italy — the country that has set the standard in optics for a very long time, and where a lens is still treated as a precision instrument.

  • 01

    Italian manufacture

Produced in Italy to European quality standards, not assembled to a price.

  • 02

    Precision optics

Edge profile, curvature and thickness held to tolerances you can feel by the eighth hour.

  • 03

    A single supply chain

Lenses, solution and drops come from one system, so nothing on your eye is an afterthought.

What we hold to

  • 01

    Sealed pigment, always

Colour never contacts the cornea. There is no version of this we compromise on.

  • 02

    Made in Italy, always

One country, one standard. We do not swap the source to meet a price.

  • 03

    Sold through professionals

Lenses belong with people who can measure your eye and follow up. We supply them, not a checkout.
